Elaine (Karp) Emiliani, a cherished member of the community, passed away comfortably on March 20, 2024, leaving behind a legacy of compassion, service, and dedication.
She was born on May 14, 1957, and throughout her life, she touched the hearts of many with her kindness and generosity.
Elaine is predeceased by her father Edward Karp and sister Nanci Karp. She left behind her loving mother, Charlotte (Callahan) Karp and her children, James and Nanci. She was a devoted mother and her two children were the light of her life. Elaine had two beautiful grand-daughters, Chloe & Emilia, who meant the world to her. In addition, she was graced with unwavering support from her love, Geoffery Brockway.
Elaine was deeply involved in her community, embodying the spirit of service. She served as an Elected Official of Greenwich Township for over 12 years, through taking turns of being Mayor and on various committees, she tirelessly worked for the betterment of this community. Her leadership and dedication were evident in every aspect of her work.
A devout Catholic, Elaine found joy and fulfillment in her faith. She dedicated herself to teaching CCD and being a Eucharist Minister at St. Mary’s in Alpha, NJ, where she was an active parishioner for over 20 years.
Elaine will be remembered for her warmth, her kindness, and her unwavering commitment to serving others. Her presence will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
Elaine (Karp) Emiliani may have departed from this world, but her spirit of love, compassion, and service will continue to live on in the hearts of those she touched.
May she rest in peace, knowing that her legacy will endure for generations to come.
A Viewing is scheduled for Sunday, March 24, 2024, from 3:00 to 6:00 PM, at the Finegan Funeral Home, 4080 William Penn Highway, Easton, PA, with a Mass of Christian Burial set for 11:00 AM the following morning, Monday, March 25, 2024, at St. Mary’s Church, 830 5th Ave, Alpha, NJ. Elaine will be laid to rest privately.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to City of Hope for cancer research in her memory, via cityofhope.org/giving. City of Hope holds a special place in Elaine’s heart.
