Walter Wogotz Obituary

Roxanne G. Purdy, Palmer Twp., Pa., passed peacefully at home on August 20th, 2024, at age 69. She was born to the late Elwood and Marion Meixsell on June 25th, 1955.

She is survived by her husband, Jordan Purdy; her four children, Janel Kissel, Jedidiah Kissel, Jordan Smith and husband Ryan, and Jeremiah Kissel; and three stepsons: Jordan and wife Shannon, Justin, and Joseph and fiancé Amy Purdy. She is also survived by her brothers, Craig Meixsell and wife Marion,  Michael Meixsell and wife Michelle, and sister-in-law, Christina Neigh. She was a dedicated and loving Grandmother to 13 grandchildren and Aunt to many nieces and nephews.  In addition to her parents Roxanne was predeceased by her brother Bill Neigh.

Roxanne attended and graduated from Nazareth High School.  Roxanne was employed with Mack Printing for several years, also ASAP Mailing Services, and her last employment was with the Liquor Control Board in Easton.

Roxanne enjoyed crafting, collecting crystals, and solving Sudoku puzzles. She also loved motorcycle rides and trips with her husband and fellow motorcyclists. She was also a MAL of the International Red Knights Motorcycle Club and a past member of the Delaware Park Chemical Engine Company #1 Ladies Auxiliary. Over the years she cherished her “girlfriend weekends” at the Jersey Shore with her good friends. Roxanne’s family would like to thank the team of St. Luke’s Hospice for their care and compassion.

A Celebration of Life will be held to honor and remember Roxanne on October 26th, 2024, at 1:00 pm at the Italian American Social Club, located at Pursel Street and Mill Street, Phillipsburg NJ 08865.
