Mary-Claire Lightcap

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Mary-Claire Lightcap, who left us on 9/27/24 at the age of 75. Mary-Claire was born on 9/9/1949 and lived a life filled with joy and laughter and love. 

She is survived by her husband William Lightcap, her brother Douglas Smith, her children Dennis Moore, Jason Moore, Mark Carlock, Jennifer Dilley, her grandchildren Jonathon, Rhiannon, Coby, Kaylee, Madison, Emma and Hannah. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Mary-Claire had a profound impact on those around her, known for bingo and boardgames, active and adventurous vacation plans, time spent with her family and friends. 

In accordance with her wishes, Mary-Claire will be cremated, and no formal service will be held. The family appreciates the love and support of our friends and loved ones during this difficult time. 

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to either the American Cancer Society https://donate.cancer.org or the American Diabetes Society https://www.gofundme.com/f/join-ads-in-revolutionizing-diabetes-care.  The Finegan Funeral Home in Palmer Twp., Pa. has been entrusted with the arrangements.
