Alfred M. Stempo, 73, of Easton, PA, passed away peacefully on Monday, October 14, 2024.
Born on July 5, 1951, he was the son of the late Joseph and Anna (Zatovich) Stempo.
Alfred “Al” Stempo is leaving behind a legacy of love and laughter. Born and raised in Easton, PA, Al was a loving husband, a great brother, a proud father, and a cherished grandfather, affectionately known as “Pop-Pop” to his two grandchildren.
An avid bowler and pool player, Al spent countless hours enjoying his favorite pastimes. Al was passionate about his beloved business, Stemie’s Place, which he co-owned and operated with his wife, Maria, for over 30 years. Known for his infectious humor and charm, Al was a social butterfly, effortlessly entertaining family, friends and patrons making everyone around him smile—sometimes even making nuns blush.
While Al was known for being light-hearted and fun-loving, he was an extremely caring person that was always ready to lend a hand to those in need. He leaves behind a community that will miss his laughter, warmth, and unwavering generosity.
Alfred is survived by his wife, Maria A. (Aiello) Stempo, his sons, Stephen Stempo and his wife, Alicia, of Lowell, MA and Brandon Stempo and his wife, Katie, of Easton, PA, his grandchildren, Norah and Nolan Stempo, his brother, Joseph Stempo, his sister, Eleanor Stempo-Cosper and his nieces and nephews.
Calling Hours are scheduled for Saturday, October 26, 2024 from 12:00 to 3:00 PM, at the Finegan Funeral Home, 4080 William Penn Highway, Easton, PA, with a Memorial Service to directly follow.
