March 21, 1975 — October 10, 2025
Matthew Kelly Dupee, 50, of Nazareth, PA, passed away peacefully at home on October 10, 2025, surrounded by his loving family.
Born on March 21, 1975, in Syracuse, NY, Matthew was a devoted husband, father, son, brother, and friend. Matthew graduated from Niagara University in 1997 with a degree in Marketing. For 27 years, he worked with dedication and pride at Frito-Lay, where he built lasting relationships and was admired for his strong work ethic and integrity. Beyond his professional career, Matthew was deeply committed to his community. From 2011 to 2025, he served as a Member of the Board for LCBA, holding the position of Chairman of the board from 2022 to 2024. His leadership and commitment helped guide the organization through years of growth and service.
Matthew’s greatest joy in life was his family. He is survived by his beloved wife, Julie (Gold) Dupee, with whom he lovingly raised their two sons, Ryan and Aidan Dupee. He is also survived by his brother, Jamie Dupee (Stacey); his sisters, Jennifer Kerns (Greg), and Brenda Sanchez (Mike). He was a proud uncle to his niece Kirstin, and nephews Justin, Brennon, and Christian. Matthew was preceded in death by his loving parents, James and Margaret Dupee, whose memory remained a source of strength and guidance throughout his life.
Matthew will be remembered for his kindness, quiet strength, and the love he showed to those around him. He had a generous heart, a warm smile, and a steady presence that made others feel at ease. He will be missed more than words can express – but his spirit lives on in the lives he touched and the family he cherished so deeply.
A Funeral Mass celebrating Matthew’s life will be held on Saturday, October 18, 2025, at 11:00 AM at St. Anthony of Padua Church in Syracuse, NY. Family and friends are invited to attend and honor a life well-lived.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that donations be made to Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in Matthew’s memory.
