Amadeu John Gonsalves

Amadeu John Gonsalves, 86, of Bethlehem Township, PA, formerly of Newark, NJ, passed away peacefully on Monday, March 9, 2026.

Born in Hastings-on-Hudson, NY, on May 23, 1939, he was the son of the late Amadeu A. Gonsalves and Marina (Rey) Gonsalves.

Amadeu is survived by his wife of 63 years, Michelina (Bronzo) Gonsalves, his children; Jack Gonsalves and his wife, Gloria, Vincent Gonsalves and his wife, Lissa and his daughter Michele Nally and her husband, Enda, his grandchildren; Vincent A., Haley, Cole, Eric, Mia and Isabella, his brother, Anthony Gonsalves, his sister-in-law, Josephine Puleo and his multiple nieces and nephews.

A Viewing is scheduled for Sunday, March 15, 2026, from 2:00 to 4:00 PM at the Finegan Funeral Home, 4080 William Penn Highway, Easton, PA. A Funeral Service will be held, at the funeral home, at 11:00 AM the following morning, Monday, March 16, 2026, with an additional Viewing Hour preceding from 10:00 to 11:00 AM. The interment will be at Gethsemane Cemetery, Easton, PA.
