Jacquelyn R. (DeChiara) Hendricks, 85, of Hilton Head Island, SC, passed away on Saturday, January 31, 2026 at her home. Born on April 9, 1940 in Easton, PA, she was the daughter of the late Rose and Armando DeChiara. She graduated from Easton Catholic High School and worked for many years at Mack Printing, Co. and retired in 1995.
Jackie and her husband, the late Delbert Hendricks, were married on November 22, 1958, with whom she celebrated 55 years before his passing in 2014. She is also predeceased by her daughter, Monica Williamson who died in 2020.
Jackie loved the beach and retired to Hilton Head Island with Delbert in 2000. Her true passion was spending time with her family. She cherished the time she spent with her grandchildren and great grandchildren, especially in Hilton Head. She was a member of Shipyard Plantation Women’s Club, volunteered at Bargain Box Thrift Store, and was an avid Mahjongg player.
Jackie is survived by her daughters, Dawn Cohen and husband Jeffrey of Bethlehem Twp.; Eva Caron of Hilton Head Island, SC; Amanda Hackbarth and husband James of Rocky Mount, NC; grandchildren Nicole Cohen and husband James; Justin Cohen and wife Hana; Kirsten McMullen and husband Mike; Nicholas Williams and wife Taylor.; Tyler Williams and fiancé Lorita Moussa, and Zachary Williamson and wife T’Mera.; and great grandchildren Keegan, Karter, Bianca, Sophia, Roman, Kameron, Nolan, Mila, Eden, Waverly, Vera, and Atlas.
A Memorial Celebration of life will be on Thursday, April 23, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Finegan Funeral Home, 4080 William Penn Highway, Palmer Twp. A Memorial Service will follow at 12:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
