Robert “Bob” Miller (79), lifelong resident of Phillipsburg, NJ and Easton, PA died peacefully in his sleep at Arden Courts Memory Care on Friday, June 26th. Bob was born to the late Joseph and Lucy Miller, in Phillipsburg, NJ on Dec 11th 1946. Bob graduated from Phillipsburg High School, Warren Tech, and earned his Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Lafayette College.
In 1969, Robert married the love of his life, Virginia Woolf (deceased) of Lopatcong, NJ. Bob is survived by his daughter Kimberly, son Aaron (Leslie) and granddaughter Adaline. He is also survived by sister Veronica Maier (Tom), identical twin brother Ronald (Rita) and their families. He is predeceased by brothers Richard and Wayne.
Bob very much enjoyed finding purpose and fulfillment at work over the many years spent at Ingersoll-Rand, Fuller Company, and Solar Technology, Inc. where he managed plant and manufacturing operations.
Bob was an avid golfer, loved traveling with his wife, loved live music, dancing at Flynn’s, and most of all spending time with his family. Bob was a little league baseball and softball coach for the Pohatcong Warriors for the years which his children were active in the sport. Bob was an amazing quoits player that averaged 4-5 ringers per game. Bob was a lifelong Eagles fan and celebrated their Super Bowl LII and LIX victories in style. In his personal time, Bob could be found watching a number of SciFi related movies and shows, and always had a whiskey in hand.
