Joan M. Bellis, 91, of Palmer Township passed away peacefully on September 28, 2026, at Country Meadows, Bethlehem, PA. Born on April 17, 1935, in Alpha, NJ she was the daughter of the late Harold Belkey and Mary Breiner.
She was the wife of the late Charles E. Bellis, Jr., former owner of Easton Beverage Company. Joan was the former owner of Jo-Vil Arts and Crafts, Palmer. She was a member of the Penn Rose Quilt Guild, Easton Area USBC Bowling association and St. Jane Frances de Chantal Catholic Church, Palmer Township. Joan loved to craft, quilt, read, travel, and spend time with her family.
Joan is survived by her sons Timothy Bellis of Washington, DC, Thomas Bellis and his wife Carol of Mechanicsburg, PA and Daughter, Bridget Weiss and her husband John of Upper Nazareth. Siblings, Rita Martin, Jim Breiner, Pat Webb, Roberta Abendschein, Michael Breiner, MaryLynn Breiner, Dennis Breiner and Cindy Vinson and eight grandchildren, Edward and Allison Funwella, Jennifer Thompson, Andrew and Samuel Bellis, John, Michael, and Ryan Weiss and three great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by sons David and Charles E. “Zeke” Bellis III, daughter Jean Funwela, brothers Frank and Thomas Breiner and sister Marsha Spirk.
Family and friends are invited to pay their respects on Monday October 5, 2026 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Finegan Funeral Home, 4080 William Penn Highway, Palmer Township. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday October 6, 2026 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Jane Frances de Chantal Catholic Church, 4049 Hartley Ave., Palmer Township. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family.
