Amy Berridge passed away at home, in Phillipsburg, NJ, on Thursday, March 28, 2024. She was 57 and had been battling recurrent cancer.
Known as the “baby sister” to her three older siblings, she was also a cherished aunt to two nieces and a nephew, and (equally importantly) a devoted pet mother to a series of adopted dogs, most of whom would obey only Amy.
Amy was an accomplished communications professional who also made the most of her time outside of work. She was a talented musician, with skill on guitar, keyboard, and mandolin, and played with a band. As a gardener, she was generous with her harvests and never failed to show up for summer dinners with radishes, zucchini, or (difficult to grow) broccoli rabe. She traveled widely; crossing the US to spend time with family on the west coast, visiting many locations in France over the years, and most recently completing a unique tour of Southeast Asia.
In everything she undertook, Amy was joyous and open hearted and she will be missed by all.
A celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, July 13, 2024, from 1-5pm, at Harker’s Hollow Golf Club, https://www.harkershollow.com/, (RSVP 908.619.1740) to give family and friends the opportunity to reminisce about Amy’s sense of humor and adventurous attitude toward living.
In the meantime, donations in her memory can be made to Karen Ann Quinlan Hospice.
