Anthony R. Bassoline, 79, of Palmer Twp., Pa., passed away at his home on July 8, 2024.
Born in Easton, Pa. on February 1, 1945, he was the son of the late Anthony Bassoline Jr. and Rose Curcio Bassoline.
Anthony was employed with Rankin-Pontiac for many years as a car salesman. He was a graduate of Notre Dame High School in Bethlehem Twp., Pa. For many years he was very involved in the sport of Boxing throughout the Pennsylvania and New Jersey region, as a promotor. Anthony was very proud of being of Italian descent, he was a member of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in Easton all of his life. He was in charge of the election polls in Palmer Township for many years, and remained a legend at “Palmer Days”. Mostly his life revolved around his grandchildren, they were his entire world.
Anthony is survived by his daughter Amy Bassoline and Daniel Artiaga of Palmer Twp.; his former wife Linda Bassoline of Bethlehem; his sister Mary Anne Bassoline Bradley of San Diego; his grandchildren L. Tyler Rodriquez, Darian Artiaga, Alyssa Artiaga and great-granddaughter Mila.
Calling hours will be held on Monday July 15, 2024 from 3 to 5 pm at The Finegan Funeral Home, 4080 William Penn Highway, Easton, Pa. A Memorial Service will begin at 5 pm.
