Barbara Ann Rowlands

Barbara Ann Rowlands, 90, of Pen Argyl, PA, and formerly of Phillipsburg, NJ, passed away peacefully on Friday, June 13, 2025.

Born in Phillipsburg, on February 5, 1935, she was the daughter of the late Laurence and Mary (Firth) Halley. Barbara was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Rowlands, Sr., who passed away in 1990.

Barbara graduated from Sts. Philip & James Catholic High School, attended Warren County Community College, where she earned her Licensed Practical Nursing Certificate and she went on to work as an LPN for the State of New Jersey until her retirement.

Barbara is survived by her sons, Edward Rowlands, Jr. and his wife, Nancy, Robert Rowlands and Kathy and Michael Rowlands, her many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, her brothers, David, Francis and James Halley, her sister, Shirley Miller and her numerous nieces and nephews. Along with her husband and parents, Barbara was predeceased by her sons, Jeffrey and Dennis Rowlands and her brothers, Raymond, Thomas and John Halley.

Services are to be held privately. The Finegan Funeral Home, of Easton, PA, has been entrusted with the arrangements.
