Charles “Chuck” J. LaMarca, 76, of Easton, PA passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, March 13, 2025 surrounded by family. Born on December 30, 1948, in Wilkes Barre, PA, he was the son to the late Regina Lawson.
Chuck was a graduate of Bound Brook High School and proudly served 6 years in the Army Reserve. He attended Kings College and Seton Hall University where he earned a master’s degree in education. A proud teacher, Chuck devoted his career of 37 years to Readington Middle School where he inspired countless students with his love of history and greatly impacted so many lives.
He was a man of wisdom, kindness and the epitome of hard work. Whether it was teaching or mowing lawns, his dedication and tireless effort was unmatched. Chuck found joy in working out at the gym, bowling, golfing, going to the casino, and spending time with his grandkids. His unending humor and smile brought joy to everyone around him.
Chuck is survived by his children Angela Case, Tina Mazotas and Adam LaMarca; his grandchildren Brody, Andie, Giana and Aria; sons-in-law Nick Case and Jake Mazotas; his sister Carole Steininger and brother-in-law Hank; half-sister Lyn Craven; and his aunt Grace Merlino. Predeceased by his life partner Fran Charleston.
Calling Hours will be held on Monday, March 24, 2025, from 5:00pm to 7:00pm, at the Finegan Funeral Home, 4080 William Penn Hwy, Easton, PA,18045, with a Memorial Service to immediately follow.
