Charles G. Leon, Jr.

Charles G. Leon, Jr., 93, of Bethlehem, PA, passed away peacefully on March 30, 2024 at Holy Family Manor, Bethlehem. Born on October 21, 1930 in Larchmont, NY, he was the son of the late Charles G. Leon, Sr. and Angelina Peri Leon. His wife, Helene Schuster Leon, passed away in 2023. They celebrated 70 years of marriage at the time of her passing. Charles was an Insurance Broker, owning the Charles Leon Agency in Ottsville, Pa., for many years. He served in the US Army during the Korean War.  He was a member of St. Jane Frances de Chantal Catholic Church, Palmer Twp., PA. Charles was an avid reader, baseball fan and golfer. He was a member of Silver Creek Country Club, in Hellertown, for many years.  He thoroughly enjoyed attending his grandchildren’s sporting events. Charles is survived by his children, Pamela Anthony of Hellertown, PA, Charles Leon, III and his wife Donna of Bethlehem, PA, Matthew Leon of Bethlehem, PA, and Christopher Leon and his wife Dasha of Delray, FL. He is also survived by his loving grandchildren; Joshua, Brittany, Lindsay, Matthew, Lauren, Alec and Bella, along with his great-grandchildren; Luca, Giulia, Austin, Shayla, Zoe, Briyar and Steele. He was predeceased his sister Margaret Frohne.

 A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday April 16, 2024 at St. Jane Frances de Chantal Catholic Church, 4049 Hartley Ave., Palmer Twp., PA, at 10:30 am. Inurnment will follow in Gethsemane Cemetery, Palmer Twp., PA. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in memory of Charles to Sights for Hope, 845 West Wyoming St., Allentown, Pa. 18103.  sightsforhope.org
