Daniel Richard Thomas, 84, of Bethlehem Twp., Pa., passed away on January 16th, 2024 at his home with his loving family. Born in Lower Mt. Bethel, Pa., he was the son of the late Morgan and Mary Collins Thomas.
Daniel was a farmer, a truck driver and a maintenance worker throughout his life. He was a Harley rider and very mechanically inclined and handy with tools, but most of all he loved being a “Pop” to his grandchildren.
Daniel is survived by his wife of 64 years, the former Bernice E. Werkheiser. His children are Debbie Christi, Randy, Richard, Darryl and wife Melissa, Pam Freed and husband Shawn, all of Pennsylvania, and Timothy of North Dakota. Also surviving is his sister-in-law, Shirley Thomas and 13 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. Daniel was predeceased by his brothers and sisters Pete, Nip, Budd, Louise and Mary, and his son-in-law, Skip Christi.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday February 4th, 2024 from 1pm to 5pm at 63A Greenbriar Drive North in Bath, Pennsylvania.
