It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved father, Dioel Zamora Sr. He entered eternal rest on Wednesday, March 5, 2025. Dioel was born on February 21, 1960, in Mission, Texas, to the late Diego Zamora Sr. and Beatriz P. Zamora of Perezville, Texas. He was a devoted father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, and uncle, touching the hearts of all who knew him with his vigor and integrity. He worked for the Coca-Cola Company for many years, was self-employed as a mechanic, and was a jack-of-all-trades. Dioel Zamora Sr. is survived by his ex-wife, Maria Garcia; daughters Diana (Felix) Zamora and Delia E. Zamora; sons Dioel Zamora Jr. and Damian D. Zamora; 13 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his late father, Diego Zamora Sr.; mother, Beatriz P. Zamora; brothers Dimas Zamora, Denis Zamora, and Dario Zamora; and sisters Delia Zamora and Diana Zamora. He is survived by four brothers: Diego (Rosa) Zamora, David (Susie) Zamora, and Delio Zamora of Mission, Texas; five sisters: Dalia Tovar of Minnesota, Dora (Emilio) Cantù of Mission, Texas, Dalila (Eugenio) Noyola of Perezville, Texas, Delma (Hector) Garza of Mission, Texas; brother-in-law Natividad Garcia of Perezville; and many nieces and nephews. Dioel’s favorite hobbies were fishing, grilling, and spending time with family. The viewing will be held at Finegan Funeral Home, 4080 William Penn Hwy, Easton, PA 18045, from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm on Saturday March 15, 2025. Flowers are welcome.
