Elizabeth (Betty) Ehrenberg

Elizabeth (Betty) Ehrenberg passed away peacefully, April 19th, 2024 at her home after a long and full life surrounded by family.

Betty lived in Bloomfield, NJ for 57 years. She spent several years in Hackettstown before moving to Wayne following her second marriage to James Ehrenberg.  Betty and Jim subsequently moved to Pennsylvania to be closer to her daughter and son-in-law.  She was predeceased by her mother, Grace LaBeaque Sutphen Schmidt, her father, William Karl Schmidt, her first husband, George Reilly, her second husband, James Ehrenberg, two sisters, Dorothy Schmidt and Catherine Paige, two sons, Robert and Douglas Reilly, and three grandchildren, Alison, Erin and Timothy Reilly.  She is survived by her daughter Ellen and her husband Larry of Easton, PA, her son Tom and his wife Blanche of Hudson, Florida, daughters-in-law Jean Reilly of Bricktown, NJ, and Linda Troxell and her husband Ed of Easton, PA, and collectively seven grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Her extended family includes six children, Janet, Barbara, John, Nancy, Edward and Tom, their spouses and children.

Services will be held at Finegan Funeral Home, 4080 William Penn Highway, Palmer Township, PA on Friday, May 17th, 2024, with visitation from 10:00 to 11:30 am. A brief service will commence at 11:30 am. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Betty’s favorite charity, Nicanadadores. Information about Nicanadadores can be found at nicanadadores.org
