Eric Michael Schlosser

Eric Michael Schlosser (1957-2025) passed peacefully at home with his family, after a battle with gastric cancer. Eric is predeceased by his father, Albert, of Font Hill, Ontario, Canada. He is survived by his mother, Teresa (McNeil), wife Catherine (Marchand), sons Richard (Megan Allnatt) and Matthew (Jacquelyn Haas), daughter Nathalie (Ian Sweeney), grandchildren Mackenzie and Ryleigh, brothers Greg (Pauline Brown) and Vaughn (Julie Cameron), sisters Terry and Karen (Jody Hitchcock), and many nephews and nieces. 

Born In Quebec on December 20, 1957, Eric grew up on the western edge of the island of Montreal. Eric graduated from Concordia University (Montreal) with a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science in 1979. Eric and Catherine were high school sweethearts and married September 1, 1979. They raised their 3 children in Montreal before moving to Bridgewater NJ in 1996. Eric spent the majority of his career at Schering Plough, where he retired as a Senior Manager of Information Systems in the Animal Health Department. Eric loved to play hockey and ski in the winter, and swim, golf and cycle in the warmer seasons. He continued to play Ice Hockey until his 50’s when he was diagnosed with Parkinson’s Disease, however he continued to skate as gracefully as ever, golf and cycle until his cancer diagnosis in January of 2025. Eric loved all the dog’s he had throughout his lifetime, Champ his childhood dog, Lady, Bandit, Tobi, Phoebe and Zelda.  

Eric and Catherine loved to travel in their R.V. which would take them on hiking and cycling adventures. He will forever be loved and missed by his family and friends, most of all by his lifelong love “Cath” Catherine.   

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held January 17, 2026 at 11:00 AM at St Jane Frances de Chantal Roman Catholic Church, 4049 Hartley Ave., Easton, PA 18045. Visitation will be held prior to the Mass, from 9:30 AM to 10:45 AM, in the church’s chapel.
