Gerda M. Curcio

Gerda Marie Curcio, 91, of Forks township passed away on June 6, 2024 after a short illness.  She is the wife of Frank L. Curcio.  They would have been celebrating their 71st anniversary this September.   She was born in Czechoslovakia on April 30, 1933 to Valerie Wohlrab Kieswetter and Vinzenz Kieswetter.  After WWII the family settled in Frankfurt, Germany where Gerda met and later married Frank in 1953.  Gerda is survived by her husband Frank, her daughter Michele Curcio, her son Michael Curcio, his wife Stacey and their children Liam and Sofia, her sisters Doris Jenkins of Bethlehem Township, Ingeborg Wells of Colorado and brothers Volkmar Kieiswetter and Klaus Kieswetter of Germany as well as many nieces and nephews. 

After retiring from the garment industry, she enjoyed hosting luncheons with her German friends and working in her flower gardens. A private memorial will be held at a future date. The Finegan Funeral in Easton, Pa. is handling the arrangements.
