Jacinta Sharon Saporito

Jacinta Sharon Saporito, age 67 of Ellendale, DE, passed away peacefully on July 11, 2026 in Philadelphia, PA  surrounded by an army of loved ones. 

Born in St. Georges, Grenada, she was the beloved child of Joseph McIntyre and Merle Romaine McIntyre. She attended Rahway High School in New Jersey as well as Monmouth University and Stockton College.  She went on to enjoy a successful 35 year career as a Senior Administrative Assistant for Merck & Co. Inc. Along the way, she made countless friends and was loved by all who worked with her. 

She was passionate about her family and was the loudest cheerleader in all of their endeavors.  She had a special love for dogs and cared for those family members just as deeply throughout her life.  Her real gift was in her ability to make friends and strangers alike feel more whole and taken care of because you had met this beautiful person.  

Jacinta is survived by her loving husband Michael James Saporito; brother Gerry; son Bernie and his wife Adriana; daughter Sarah and her husband Luke; grandchildren Billie, Cameron and Decker. 

Services (viewing) will be held on Tuesday, July 21, 2026 between 5:00 – 8:00 PM at The Finegan Funeral Home, 4080 William Penn Highway, Easton, PA.  A funeral service will follow on Wednesday, July 22, 2026 10:00 AM at St. Phillip & James Catholic Church, 430 S Main Street, Phillipsburg, NJ.
