Jenett Eileen Ladlee, 56, passed away on April 4, 2026, at St. Luke’s Warren Campus in Phillipsburg, New Jersey, surrounded by loved ones.
Born on September 16, 1969, in Elizabeth, New Jersey, Jenett lived a life defined by strength, resilience, and generosity. She was known for her fiery personality, her unwavering work ethic, and her deep commitment to the people she cared about.
Jenett was hilarious, direct, and unapologetically herself. She was assertive, capable, and a natural motivator—someone who inspired others not just by what she said, but by how she lived. She took risks, stood her ground, and remained humble through it all. People were drawn to her honesty, her strength, and her ability to show up when it mattered most.
She dedicated many years of her life as a certified nurse’s aide in long-term care facilities throughout the Lehigh Valley, including Country Meadows in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. Her work reflected who she was at her core—a caregiver not just by profession, but by nature. She also gave her time and energy caring for her mother and supporting neighbors and loved ones whenever they needed her.
Jenett found joy in life’s simple and meaningful moments. She loved spending time with family and friends—sharing meals, sitting around a fire, enjoying local lakes and rivers, and fishing. She wasn’t openly religious, but she lived with acceptance and respect for others, never judging or imposing her beliefs.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Earl and Alma Ladlee, and her brothers, Jack and Robert Ladlee.
She is survived by her daughter, Chrystall Ladlee; her granddaughters, Chiara Diaz and Imani Jenkins; her brother, Timothy Ladlee; her sister, Michelle Ladlee; and her nieces and nephews, Damian Rapoli Ladlee, Zacharia Ladlee, Alexandria Ladlee, and Samantha Carr, along with many extended family members and loved ones.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, April 11, 2026, beginning at 1:00 PM EST at Absalom Jones #109 Masonic Lodge, located at 22 S. 3rd Street, Easton, Pennsylvania (third floor). All are welcome to attend and pay their respects.
The family is accepting donations to assist with cremation and memorial expenses and deeply appreciates any support during this time. A GoFundMe link is available, along with an option to send flowers in honor of Jenett, who loved them dearly. Information regarding an annual Ladlee Legacy scholarship or grant will be shared at a later date.
Jenett’s legacy lives on in the strength she showed, the love she gave, and the lives she impacted. She will be deeply missed and never forgotten.
