John Albert Francis, 60, of Easton, Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully on May 13, 2025, surrounded by loved ones. Born on March 26, 1965 in East Meadow, Long Island, New York, John lived a life full of compassion, humor, adventure, and deep love for his family.
He is survived by his devoted wife of 35 years, Yolanda Francis; his beloved children John J. Francis and his wife Sky Pope-Francis, and Stephanie A. Francis and her husband Ezekiel Kitchen; his cherished grandson, Charles J. Francis; his loving mother, Susan Francis; and his siblings, Lori Bainbridge, Thomas J. Francis, and Michelle Aletkin. He was preceded in death by his father, Raymond C. Francis, his sister Marie Francis, and his brother William R. Francis.
John built a successful and respected career as a Project Manager at R. Keller Construction, where he worked for over 25 years. He held an Associate Degree from Nassau Community College and was known for his leadership, integrity, and dedication to his work.
Outside of his profession, John found joy in nature and adventure. He loved hiking, ATV riding, exploring waterfalls, finding local breweries, and taking nature walks. He admired architecture, enjoyed dancing, and cherished his time visiting and traveling California with his family. As well, he was a dedicated Jets fan. Above all, John was most passionate about the people in his life. He was deeply compassionate, kind, generous, and always ready with a sarcastic remark or a helping hand. His sense of humor, strength, and unwavering love left a lasting impact on everyone who knew him.
One of John’s greatest joys in life was becoming “Pop-Pop” to his grandson, Charles. He took immense pride in being a grandfather and adored every moment spent with Charlie, treasuring their bond with pure love and joy.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 17, 2025 from 2pm – 6pm, at Finegan Funeral Home, located at 4080 William Penn Highway, Easton, PA.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to the ALS Association, a cause that was close to John’s heart.
John will be missed beyond measure and remembered always for the love he gave and the light he brought into the lives of others.
