Marcia Joan Kelly

It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of Marcia Joan Kelly (Woolf), of Bethlehem, PA, on February 24, 2024. Born on June 22, 1949, in Phillipsburg, NJ, she touched many lives with her warmth and kindness.

A graduate of Phillipsburg High School in 1967, Marcia married her high school sweetheart William Kelly on June 17, 1967.  She cherished the time spent with her husband and raising her two sons.  Her professional journey included positions at Edward’s Business Machines and within the Bethlehem Area School District from which she retired.  A member of St. James Lutheran Church in Phillipsburg, NJ, and Ebenezer Bible Fellowship in Bethlehem, PA, Marcia’s faith was a cornerstone of her life.

Marcia was pre-deceased by her parents Stewart Dale Woolf (June 6, 1916 – March 2, 2001) and Harriet Elizabeth Woolf (Housel) (April 11, 1917 – July 14, 1994) both of Phillipsburg, NJ; and her brother Dale Robert Woolf (November 27, 1938 – June 18, 1999) of Hartville, MO; and brother Richard Kent Woolf (September 18, 1942 – November 16, 2022), of Toms River, NJ.

Marcia is survived by her loving husband, William Kelly of Bethlehem, PA; her son Bill Kelly, his wife Karen, and granddaughters, Emily and Maribeth of State College, PA; and her son Kyle Kelly, his wife Karen, and granddaughter, Sarah, of Bethlehem, PA.  Her presence will be dearly missed but her spirit will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew her.

A private celebration of Marcia’s life will be held by the family, donations in Marcia’s memory may be made to Lehigh Valley Hospice, 2024 Lehigh Street, Suite 100, Allentown, PA, 18103.
