Mario DelPapa Costantino, 99 ¾ years, of Easton, Pa., passed away on Sunday June 16, 2024, in his home. He was the widower of Rosemarie (Genua) Costantino, to whom he was married for 55 years. He was the eldest son of the late John and Mary (DelPapa) Costantino.
Mario proudly served his country as a US Army combat Sergeant during World War II, fighting in the last battle of WW II, in Okinawa.
Mario was employed as Parts Manager at Gorham Chevrolet and Service Manager at Deichman Walker Chevrolet. After retirement he helped at Easton Camera Center, became a courier for Lafayette Ambassador Bank and volunteered at the Easton Hospital front desk until the Covid 19 pandemic. He was one of St. Anthony’s original Special Ministers. Mario was an extremely talented handyman who built many additions to his home. He was devoted to his family.
He is survived by his children; Judy Kells, Mario A. Costantino and his wife Karen, Donna Lawrence and her husband Dean, 7 grandchildren and 1 great-granddaughter, sister Gloria Featherstone and brother John Costantino. He was predeceased by his sister, Rita Laubenstein.
Viewing hours will be held on Sunday June 23, 2024 from 5 to 7 pm at The Finegan Funeral Home, 4080 William Penn Highway, Easton, Pa. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday June 24, 2024 at 10 am at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, 9th and Lehigh Streets, Easton, Pa.
