Mary Jane Daum

Mary Jane “Jane” Daum passed away surrounded by her family on March 23, 2025.  Jane grew up in Essex County, NJ and New York City before marrying and raising a family in Caldwell, NJ.  Jane loved working at the telephone company and bakery in Caldwell, taking walks, and spending time with her dogs and cat.  

Jane spent some years living in Florida before settling in Hackettstown, NJ to devote more time to her grandchildren, with whom she was very proud.  Jane spent much of her later years helping others, thrifting and traveling with her beloved companion; most notably to visit Elvis in Graceland.  

Jane had a tremendous sense of humor, would never turn down playing a board game with family and was pleased to spend time sewing when she could.  Jane attended Faith Community in Easton, PA as often as possible.  She loved to sing hymns and dance for the Lord!  

Her family invites you to celebrate her life on Thursday April 3, 2025 at Faith Community Church: 3000 Freemansburg Avenue, Easton, PA.  A calling hour is scheduled 11am-12pm.  A memorial service will be held at 12 noon with lunch and fellowship immediately following the service.   In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to Faith Community Assembly of God.
