Nina Konish, 77, of Nazareth, Pennsylvania, passed away unexpectedly on October 17, 2026, leaving behind a lifetime of cherished memories and a family who loved her deeply.
Nina was a devoted wife, loving mother, and proud grandmother whose greatest joy in life was her family. She shared 56 years of marriage with her beloved husband, Peter Konish Sr., building a life together centered on love, family, and lasting memories.
A woman of remarkable strength, warmth, and unwavering devotion, Nina loved her family openly and wholeheartedly. Fiercely protective of those closest to her, she was a constant source of strength, comfort, and unconditional love. Known for her quick wit and wonderful sense of humor, Nina had a special way of bringing laughter to those around her. Her strong personality, sharp wit, and loving heart made her truly unforgettable.
Nina found happiness in life’s simple pleasures and especially enjoyed the changing seasons. Each spring, she looked forward to planting flowers and bringing beauty and color to her surroundings. As autumn arrived, she loved decorating for the fall season, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere for her family.
Of all the holidays, Christmas held the most special place in Nina’s heart. Every year, she eagerly anticipated bringing her family together. For Nina, the greatest gift of Christmas was simply having everyone she loved gathered in one place. Her excitement and anticipation made the holiday truly special, creating cherished memories and traditions that her family will carry forward for generations.
She also loved reading and looked forward to the family’s annual trips to Lancaster, Pennsylvania. These trips provided another opportunity to make wonderful memories and, most importantly, spend meaningful time with those she loved.
Above all, Nina treasured being a mother and grandmother. She loved spending time with her sons and grandchildren, celebrating their happiness, sharing laughter, and making sure they always knew how deeply they were loved.
Nina is survived by her loving husband Peter Konish Sr; her three sons, Peter Konish Jr. and his wife, Christine; Michael Konish and his wife, Tracy, his ex-wife Michelle Konish; and Robert Konish. Nina is also survived by her two sisters, Adeline and Carol Anne, and many loving nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Nino and Angelina Roncace.
Although her unexpected passing leaves an immeasurable emptiness, Nina’s legacy will live on through the love she gave so freely, the strength she brought to her family, the laughter she inspired, and the countless memories they shared.
