Paolo Ferrara

Paolo Ferrara, 73, of Effort, PA, passed away peacefully on Friday, December 13, 2024.

Born on September 23, 1951, in Partinico, Sicily, Italy, he was the son of the late Dominico and Rosaria (Soffetti) Ferrara.

At the age of six Paolo, along with his mother and siblings, sailed from Sicily to the United States to meet the rest of his family to start a new life in America. Later in life he went on to work for Amaras, Midland-Ross, United Silk Screening and Liz Claborne. Paolo was known for his love of camping and crabbing, he enjoyed singing and karaoke and spending time thrifting and he was a great cook.

Paolo is survived by his wife, Frances M. Ferrara, his children; Dominic Ferrara and his wife, Christina, Gina Ferrara and her husband, Michael Moreno, Nicholas Ferrara and Michael Ferrara and his wife, Jessica, his grandchildren; Nico, Gianni, Angelo, Vito, Desmond, Maria, Kayleigh and Michaelangelo, and his siblings; Jimmy Ferrara, Salvatore Ferrara, Paola Ferrara Capriglione, Joesph Ferrara and Frank Ferrara. In addition to his parents, Paolo was predeceased by his son, Vincent Paul Ferrara and his sister, Rose Ferrara.

A Viewing will be held on Friday, December 20, 2024, from 5:00 to 7:00 PM, at the Finegan Funeral Home, 4080 William Penn Highway, Easton, PA, with a Funeral Mass scheduled for 10:30 AM, the following morning, Saturday, December 21, 2024, at the St. Jane Frances de Chantal Catholic Church, 4049 Hartley Avenue, Easton, PA.
