Philip A. Werner, 87, of Palmer Township, PA, passed away peacefully, with his family at his side, on Monday, February 12, 2024.
Born on September 9, 1936, in Springfield, OH, he was the son of the late Carl M. and Thelma (Rainey) Werner. Philip is survived by his wife of 26 years, Debbie A. (Russo) Werner.
Philip retired from Mack Printing as a superintendent and served as a member of the boards of both the Mack Printing Credit Union and Palmer Township Kiwanis. Philip held a private pilot’s license and was an avid golfer and bowler. Philip was also a devoted fan of the Dallas Cowboys.
Along with his wife, Debbie, Philip is survived by his children; Alan Werner, Jr. and his wife, Penny, of Bolivia, NC, Teresa Rumford, of Largo, FL, Christopher Werner and his wife, Julie, of Bath, PA, Jeffrey Werner, of Bethlehem, PA and Allison Ditty and her husband, Matt, of Wilmington, DE, his six grandchildren, his ten great-grandchildren, his sister, Shirley Bodey, of Troy, OH, his nieces and nephews and his best companion, Cooper. In addition to his parents, Philip was predeceased by his sister, Norma Loudenback.
A Celebration of Life is set to be held at 2:00 PM, on Sunday, February 18, 2024, at Philip’s home. The Finegan Funeral Home, Easton, PA, has been entrusted with the arrangements.
