Rafael A. Delgado was born on February 8, 1944 in Aguadilla, PR and passed away on July 8, 2024. He attended college in Arkansas in 1965 before joining the U.S. Army on October 18, 1967. Rafael served in Vietnam from March 22, 1968, to October 3, 1969, and received his honorable discharge on December 24,1969. He lived in Spanish Harlem with his mother. Rafael served as a Deacon at Riverside Church in Manhattan before earning his Bachelor of Arts in Daytona Beach, Fl. on May 21, 1973. He later attended the University of the State of New York, where he received his LMSW degree on September 1, 2004. Rafael worked for the state until his retirement on October 1, 2015. He was married to Olga and was a devoted father to her children and grandchildren. Rafael was a beloved uncle, brother, and friend.
Viewing hours will be held on Thursday July 18, 2024 from 12 noon to 2 pm at The Finegan Funeral Home, 4080 William Penn Highway, Easton, Pa. There will be a short prayer and words at 2pm. Interment will be private.
