Richard C. Picone

Richard C. Picone, 86, of Easton, PA, passed away on Saturday, June 1, 2024.

Born on April 7, 1938, in Easton, PA, he was the son of the late Samuel and Mabel Gans Picone. The love of his life, Carol Ann Schafer Picone, passed away in January of 2024. They were married for 44 years at the time of her passing.

Richard was employed as a press operator for Sheridan Printing for many years. He then worked and retired as an owner/operator Truck Driver with Daily Express.

He was a 1957 graduate of Easton High School where he played football. He remained a lifelong Red Rover. He had a love for Harley Davidsons, Mustangs and boating, however, he had an even greater love for his family, which he showed by being very active in his support for his grandchildren’s sporting events. He was ever present on the sidelines of every game.

Richard is survived by his children; Rick Picone and his significant other, Judy Geschardt, Cathy Krewson and her husband, Keith, Tom Picone and his wife, Mirka, and Jenn Yankowy and her husband, Dave. His stepsons; Kevin M. Correll, Kraig J. Correll and his wife, Kathy, his ten grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and nieces also survive. Richard is also survived by his sister Connie Ronca and her significant other, Richard Kassler.

A Viewing is scheduled for Wednesday June 5, 2024, from 10:00 to 11:00 AM, at the Finegan Funeral Home, 4080 William Penn Highway, Easton, PA, with a Funeral Service to directly follow. The interment will be in the Northampton Memorial Shrine.
