Richard Sigafoos

Richard Sigafoos, 85, of Saylorsburg, Pa., passed away on June 25th, 2024 in Stroudsburg, Pa. He was the husband of Helen Marie Martin Sigafoos. They shared 67 years of marriage together.  

Richard was born in Easton, Pa. on September 15th, 1938, he was a son of the late Bertrum and Edith Gordon Sigafoos.

He attended Wilson High School, where he played football. Richard was employed with Dixie Cup and James River Corp. In his spare time, he enjoyed being outdoors. Richard loved to fish and hunt. When he wasn’t spending time outside, you could find him listening to music or with a book in his hand. Richard was a very loving, caring and dedicated husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather and friend.  

He is survived by his wife, Helen Marie Martin Sigafoos, and his daughters Jacquelyn Sigafoos, Joan Marshall and son-in-law, Jeffery Marshall, Jean Buzzard and son-in-law, Duane Buzzard, 3 grandchildren, Krystal Ackerman, Ryan Marshall, Megan Marshall, and 3 great grandchildren, Braeden Hawk, Hudson Hawk and Tawni Marshall. 

 Funeral Services will be held privately at The Finegan Funeral Home in Palmer Twp., Pa. with Pastor E.
