Ronald O. Crumbliss Obituary

Ronald Owney “Roc” Crumbliss, 76, of Kutztown, PA, passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 3, 2025.

Born in El Paso, TX, on August 12, 1948, he was the son of the late Edward and Florence (Curry) Crumbliss.

He was a 1966 graduate of Conrad Weiser Area High and upon graduation, he enlisted in the U.S. Marine Corps and served in country active duty as a radio operator during the Vietnam war from 1966-1968. A lifelong music enthusiast, he earned his FCC licenses and working at various radio stations, including, WHOL 1600 AM, WYNS 1150 AM, WXLV 90.3 FM and WMUH 91.7, including Ham radio license N3MYY.

He spent over 45 years in the construction industry working as a pipeline weldor with Steamfitters Local Union #420, and remained deeply passionate and involved in music as a record store owner of ROC-TAC Nostalgic, DJ, and event organizer, bringing national and local artists to stages across eastern Pennsylvania.

In 2015, alongside his son Christopher, he founded CC Broadcasting, LLC, purchasing Sunny 1100 WGPA-AM, later adding WLSH-AM 1410 and WMGH-FM Magic 105.5 to the family.

Ronald is survived by his children, Tracy Crumbliss and Christopher Crumbliss, his paramour, Patricia “Irish” Hoffman and his former wife, Teresa Crumbliss.

A Viewing is scheduled for Sunday, August 10, from 3 to 5 PM at the Finegan Funeral Home, 4080 William Penn Highway, Easton, PA, with a Funeral Service to immediately follow. The interment, with full military honors, is then set to take place at 9:30 AM the following day, Monday, August 11, at the Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, 60 Indiantown Gap Rd, Annville, PA.
