Sheila F. Slack Obituary

Sheila Faye Slack, 79, of Palmer Township, PA, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, July 22, 2026. Born on November 19, 1946, in Easton, PA, she was the daughter of the late Morris and Leona (Kaplan) Lifland. Sheila was an only child, adored by her parents.

Sheila spent most of her years as a homemaker, wife and full-time mother. However, she enjoyed working part-time as a cashier at Falk’s Stores, Thrift Drug Store, and Wegmans. She loved Christmas and combined her love for the holiday hosting in-home and catalog parties for Christmas Around the World / House of Lloyd lines selling holiday and day-to-day items. Sheila earned the position of Senior Supervisor with them and was awarded several all-expense-paid trips to locations such as Australia, Alaska, Hawaii, Greece, and more. She was very proud to have shared these trips with her family.

Sheila loved clothing and always had stuffed closets. She later turned this into a family business opportunity selling LuLaRoe clothing.

Sheila loved doo-wop music, especially going to shows at the State Theatre in Easton and traveling to Las Vegas with her late husband Terry R Slack. She would often be seen in the front row, getting photos with the band, and dancing with her unique expression.

In recent months, Sheila valued her closeness with the local Grief Share group. She looked forward to her Tuesday meetings and monthly lunches with the ladies.

Of all her loves, her husband and family were her pride and joy. Every crevice of her home was covered in photos.

Sheila was pre-deceased by two years and two weeks, by the love of her life Terry R Slack. The two love birds left home in 1962, when Sheila was only 15 years old and Terry 16, and drove to Georgia to get married.

Sheila was the proud mother of three daughters. Sheila was pre-deceased by her daughter, Sherri Carlos. She is survived by daughters Terri Infante and husband Rafael Infante of Quakertown, PA and Trudy Trumbore, of Reading, PA.

She is also survived by six grandchildren & three great-grandchildren.

Grandchildren- Crystal Allman and husband Anthony Allman, Corey Scheip and wife Katie Scheip, Ashe Picione, Marissa Picione, Madison Trumbore, & Abigail Trumbore.

Great-grandchildren – Allie Brown, Cameron Brown, Will Scheip.
